The Nawf Roleplay — Rules Guide
Core vibe: serious-to-semi-realistic RP set in an Atlanta-inspired map. Roleplay first. Create stories. Win with creativity, not with gun meta.
0) Golden Rules
If you follow nothing else, follow these. This is the Beta/V1 enforcement baseline.
Talk before you shoot. Aim for story, not stats.
Fear death/injury realistically. Don’t act invincible.
No random killing. No weaponized vehicles.
Use only what your character learns IC. Don’t force outcomes or abuse mechanics.
No crime/combat in protected areas. Staff can declare temporary greens during events.
Bug abuse, dupes, macros, crosshairs, or third-party advantage = bans.
Definitions (what staff actually means)
These are the common rule triggers. If you avoid these, you avoid 90% of enforcement.
1) Green Zones (No crime, no hostile RP)
Protected areas. No crime, no threats, no harassment, no force.
- DMV / Driving School
- Job Center
- Hospitals / EMS bays
- PD lobby / booking
- Banks / ATMs
- City Hall
Staff-run events and tutorial areas are green zones when announced.
2) Character & Story
Original characters. Clean arcs. No exploiting alts.
- Original characters only. No celebrity/gov officials or lore-breaking copies.
- One main arc at a time. Alts allowed, but no cross-pollination.
- No item/money transfers between alts. No using one character to benefit another.
- If you hold a service role, do not run an active criminal on the same day/session.
- Never leak information or “cop-bait” via alts.
3) Crime & Interaction Standards
Initiate clearly. Give time. Keep it believable.
- Initiation: Clear verbal or situational RP before force. Give time to comply.
- Ambushes: Must make sense IC and should lead to RP, not instant wipes.
- Camping: Don’t camp green zones, hospital exits, or job centers.
- Hostages: Must be real players with meaningful RP (no friends “AFK props”). Killing a compliant hostage is low-effort and punishable.
- Scamming: In-character, believable, reasonable amounts. No new-player targeting. No OOC marketplace scams.
- Kidnapping/Torture: Story-driven and community-safe tone. Absolutely no ERP or sexualized violence.
4) Combat Conduct
Combat is a tool for story, not the destination.
- Firearm escalation requires visible threat, clear commands, and a chance to comply.
- Finishing downed players only when story-justified. Avoid wiping scenes to grief.
- If you’re out (hospital/jail), do not return to continue the same fight.
- Vehicles are not primary weapons (no ramming, brake-check baiting, etc.).
- Sniping/long-range ambushes must have IC intel/motive and lead to RP, not instant wipes.
5) Driving, Vehicles & Property
Drive believably. Don’t use systems to cheese outcomes.
- Traffic laws generally apply. Drive believably, especially in the city core.
- Don’t block businesses/EMS/PD bays. Abandoned vehicles may be impounded.
- Short-term use only. No chopping, no storing, no reselling.
- They auto-repo.
6) Economy, Jobs & Items
It’s okay to grind—make it roleplay.
Do not rob tutorial/new players. Build scenes, don’t farm people.
- Don’t abuse weight/stacking quirks. No “mule” alts.
- Pets & props are flavor only. Don’t weaponize placement to trap/block LOS.
7) Police & EMS (High-Trust Roles)
Professional conduct. You’re the standard.
- Win with procedure, not power.
- Use of force follows SOPs (verbal → less-lethal → lethal).
- Corruption RP only with command approval and clear boundaries.
- EMS priority is life. Stabilize and produce RP even in hectic scenes.
- Don’t withhold care for OOC reasons.
- Body-cam style RP encouraged for high-stakes scenes.
8) Comms, Streaming & Media
Keep comms IC. Don’t use outside tools to win.
- In-game voice for IC. No Discord/third-party comms to metagame.
- Radios/phones must exist IC to be used IC.
- Allowed. Blur private info/IDs.
- Stream-sniping or using streams to locate/anticipate is a ban.
- Use clips for reports; do not witch-hunt publicly.
9) Community Conduct
Zero tolerance for harassment and hate. Keep OOC clean.
- No hate speech, slurs, doxxing, or harassment. Zero tolerance.
- Keep OOC clean. Use /ooc sparingly. Use /report for real issues.
- Staff word is final in-session. Appeals happen after.
10) Bugs, Exploits & Tech
If it’s broken, report it. Don’t replicate it.
- Report bugs/exploits immediately via /report or ticket.
- Do not replicate or teach others.
- No third-party cheats/macros/crosshairs. Hardware/software advantage = ban.
- If something fails to trigger, /report—don’t force glitches to “make RP happen.”
11) Punishments (examples, not exhaustive)
Staff enforces contextually, but outcomes follow a consistent ladder.
12) How to Get Help
Short context + a clean clip = fast resolution.
- Use /report with short context (who/where/what).
- Save clips (2–5 min before/after).
- If staff pauses your scene, comply. You’ll resume or reset as instructed.
When in doubt: choose RP that moves the story forward.
V2 Rules (Preview)
These are not enforced yet unless staff announces otherwise. This section is here so V2 can slot in cleanly later.
V2: Heist tiers, cooldown tables, police minimums per scenario
- Tiered heists (small/medium/major) with explicit cooldowns.
- Negotiation standards and required units per tier.
- Heat / wanted levels / repeat targeting limits.
V2: Factions, gangs, business charters, leadership rules
- Creation requirements, roster limits, recruit standards.
- Territory/venue rules and conflict gates.

- Press credentials and filming limits around sensitive scenes.
